Our Church Family

Learn about who makes up our congregation!

Neil Diamond

Tribute Band

Members of Dover enjoyed a beautiful evening at the Westlake Rec Center singing along to Neil Diamond hits performed by the Diamond Project Band.

Dover's Annual

Baseball Outing

Every summer, members of Dover congregation get together at Progressive Field to watch our hometown Guardians (hopefully) beat the visiting team--this year the Guardians didn't disappoint with a towering 5-0 win over the Astros!

Steward of the Month

God’s stewards do not seek recognition, but they deserve it. We want to recognize those members of Dover Congregational Church who give unselfishly for the good of others. Each month we would like to recognize a Steward of the Month from our congregation.

If you would like to nominate someone, pick up a form at church, request a form be emailed to you by contacting Jane Coil at
jcoil@doverucc.org, or call the church office at 440-871-1050.

Coffee Hour

Join us for community and fellowship after the 10:00 AM service at our Coffee Hour in Thomas Hall. Fellowship, community. . .and food!

Retired (or Not!) Men's Luncheons

Open to all men of Dover Church. The luncheons are held the third Tuesday of the month at 12:00 noon for a time of food, fellowship and conversation.

Reservations are not needed. Claudette's Cafe & Deli, 26485 Center Ridge Road, Westlake, OH. Call the church office with any questions.

Our Church Library

Dover Church's library has devotional, resource and fictions books and media available for our church readers, old and young.

Table of Eight

A great way to get to know your church family!

Each month a group of 8 (or 9, or 10. . .!) people including singles and couples get together to share a meal, play cards, go bowling. . .whatever they would like to do to enjoy community and friendship.

One of the singles or couples hosts and chooses the activity for the month. After four months, the groups are scrambled so for the next four months you are meeting and getting to know different members of the congregation. Table of Eight is open to all members of the Dover family--young and not-so-young!

"Souper Bowl" Sundays

Our Back Bay Mission group is always busy, planning for the mission trip in April 2023. For Super Bowl Sunday, they held their first soup fund raiser, and it was so successful, they held another in March! The group made and sold Irish stew and "Irish" minestrone in honor of St. Patrick's Day.

Micah's Cafe

Micah 6:8 "And what does the Lord require of you but to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?"

MICAH'S IS OPEN! Stop by before the 10:00 AM worship service and enjoy a cup of coffee, hot tea or hot chocolate with your church friends and family. Who knows--you might just meet some new friends!

All proceeds go to our missions.
