Visiting a church for the first time can be a little daunting.
Dover Congregational church aims to extend God's extravagant welcome
to all who pass through our doors.
We hope this page will help you with the basics
of what you can expect when you visit us on Sunday.
Worship and What to Expect
At Dover we have two worship opportunities each Sunday.
At 8:15am in the chapel we offer a casual and conversational worship experience.
If you prefer a smaller gathering, this service may be just right for you.
At 10:00am we gather in the sanctuary for worship filled with music, scripture,
a time for our children, an uplifting message, and communion the first Sunday of the month.
All are welcome at the table. From September through May
our Chancel Choir provide music leadership.
Micah’s Cafe is available for coffee, tea and other drinks prior to the 10:00am service.
When you are visiting the church, stop by The Hub right outside the church office.
It has information for visitors regarding our church and staff,
events currently taking place at Dover, and a gift for you to enjoy!
What to Wear
At Dover Congregational United Church of Christ you are encouraged to be yourself.
You will see people wearing anything from jeans and t-shirts to suits and ties.
We ask that you please wear whatever makes you most comfortable! Come as you are.
Childcare
Children are not only welcomed but encouraged to participate in worship.
However, a staffed nursery for children up to five years old is provided.
During the 10:00am service, Christian Education is available
to children from Kindergarten through 8th grade

The church parking lot is accessible from Dover Center Road
on the north side of the building and has spots close to the building
for those needing a disabled spot.
